Synopsis[]
Punie is next in line to become queen of Magical Land. However, she must spend a year on Earth before she can inherit the throne, so she transfers into a school in Japan. She's usually a sweet and gentle girl... that is unless someone does something to displease her, then she'll drop the act. She won't hesitate to whip out her magic stick and cheerfully rain bloody destruction down on the hapless fool, or barring that, simply use brutal wrestling moves to punish them. Accompanied by her animal mascot Paya-tan, who makes regular attempts on her life (still bitter about being defeated and then forcibly recruited from WakuWaku Mascot Village), and forced to fend off random attacks by various people from her Kingdom who all have different reasons for wanting her dead, she must complete this year of training on Earth without fail.

Character[]
The protagonist and, according to flashbacks, the antagonist of the story, Punie has come to Japan in order to prove herself worthy of becoming the next Queen of Magical Land. At first glance, she appears to be a pretty, pretty girl, but in her true nature, she is a ruthless and ruthless Machiavellian who believes that “power is justice." She hates democracy and cabbage field dolls.
To win, she will not choose any means, and will even use magic to commit blackmail, subterfuge, and even get down on her knees if necessary. Many of them are haunted by Shogun-level grudges that would kill a normal person in an instant. Her name is a pun on Kunie Tanaka, a famous actor (not an actress). It is also revealed in her battle with Elise that she can freely dislocate her shoulders as and when required.

Abilities[]
"~ Lyrical Tokarev, Kill Them All!!!"
― Punie Tanakai
As the princess of Magical Land who is next in line of the throne, she has many enemies whom she defeats with her submission maneuvers and magic powers. Incidentally, she is better at submissions in the name of physical language than at magic. Nevertheless, both bare-handed and weapon attacks are strong enough.
The magic spell is “Lyrical Tokarev, Kill Them All”. The rod can also transform into a three-sectioned club and has been used for hanging. Also, because of the very low level of education in the Kingdom of Holy Magic, she is not very good at studying (college level at the sixth level of 99). She is a realist who will not choose any means to an end, buts he is so big that you want to go along with her. She is popular in another sense because she is belligerent and has a strong mentality that makes you want to say, “Are you really a girl?."
"Can you call yourself a king without being able to control even one or two retainers aiming for your life?"
― Punie Tanakai
Punie may seem young and innocent, but when threatened (and she feels threatened very easily) she quickly becomes violent and aggressive. She maintains the image of a cute and carefree girl on the front, hiding her true nature as a ruthless witch who has no second thoughts killing people, unicorns and vegetables or to make use of her friends to achieve her aim.
She sometimes fights with magic like a magical girl, but in reality she believes that “power is justice,” and when she sees that magic does not work on her opponents, she crushes them thoroughly with joint attacks (physical language), which is her forte. She says, “Striking is the art of a champion,” and “submission is the art of a champion."
"Hana-ken Shu-fu, such as striking system! Joint techniques are the skills of champions!!"
― Punie Tanakai
Punie is an expert on applying submission holds, believing in this particular branch of infighting technique as the 'true way of the royalty'. She prefaces the name of her submission maneuvers with "Princess" such as the "Princess Head Lock" or "Princess Figure Four Leg Lock".

TV Anime[]
Each DVD volume contains two 15-minute episodes (the first edition includes CDs of “Touge no Radio” and “Hoso Banned Song” and “Punie's Homecoming” as video extras; only the first volume comes with a box to hold all the episodes). The original work's strong gags by Owada are made even more intense with the addition of Tsutomu Mizushima's poisonous direction. It also has more parody material than the original work.
